Ya, dinner started off at 8 p.m. We didn't wait for Dennis and his Lau Po cos, they came in late but he was soon forgiven cos, he dropped by with one ctn. of beer and that kept everyone's mouth shut!
MN, was happily drinking away celebrating John's (her Lau Kung) birthday. Poor MN had to celebrate John's birthday in advanced cos, of the meeting.
MN, pls. help me to wish John a very happy belated birthday. By the way, is he still that Johnny Walker (still going strong) that you told me about years back.
Boy! the food were so delicious and as usual we all forgot what we were there for! MN did take a few snap shots on the food and I guess she'll e-mail it to you all.
Meeting started off around 9.20 p.m. Present were - MN (chairperson), Kui san, Fung Yun, Anny ( both only dropped by for the meeting) Chui Chui (1st time around) our Bishop's wife Mary who came by after dinner. Dennis, Ronald, Ming Hai and Philip.

Meeting ended up with a lot of funny snap shots taken and everyone was laughing their heads off and all of us forgot that we were already 1/2 century! Even Mary joined in the fun. But honestly speaking the crazy gang were trying their best to behave themselves! Poor Philip didn't have a chance to touch MN's hairy legs cos, Mary was sitting next to him.
Philip have better luck next time ya?
For desert - Red Bean Tong Sui, steamed peanuts, pineapple and orange cake. MN, skipped the desert and she was so shocked the way the gang attacked the desert after having a heavy dinner!
Most of the gang left at 10.40 p.m.
The next meeting will be Dennis Wah's hs. cos, he wanted us to have a look at his fridge! Ask him why?

I told you I would have an artificial effect on their behaviour if I turned up! Sure enough they kept worrying what I would think (why? I'm not going to report to God about them!) and told Philip to behave,etc. I had to assure them my ears automatically censor out any "unacceptable" language so SL didn't have to keep cursing Dennis behind her notepad....
As it sounds in SL's report, they were having a whale of a time just messing around. Dennis was trying to sell a fridge in the midst of a serious discussion on the menu....and then they were comparing before and after (what, I didn't hear!) pictures of tummies. You can guess whose they were in the attached pics!
It started at 8+pm, not 9:20, because they looked as if they were working hard when I walked in at 8:20pm. We finished before 10pm even with all the supper. We were laughing at Kui San feeding Ronald Soh with red bean soup. They were practising for the old folks' home (Wong Chui Chui runs one in KK) and the 2 of them are already grandparents, believe it or not!
