Cendol & Hakka Joget

Anny Chin was our Form Leader in Form 5Sc. I thought it was too late to have a dance with her after we left school in 1973. But live is full of surprises and strange twists. The wonder of the internet has made anything possible as this conversation proves:

Pete,
I'll take the "jeng lut" at Penang Village restaurant with you lah. The dance clubs will do me in.
This "Ah-Fui Tsai" still does club hopping at this age. Cannot keep up with you.

Pete,
Awesome! Didn't know you read Hakka too! Now Rita needs a translation....

Heavens forbid! Unbelievable 2 versions here. Both of you are treasures in this department (I am still cackling while typing this). Eve, don't you think they are great? And Pete, give Rita dat translation, she doesn't understand Hakka. Let's see how Pete fare... nicer, direct or "gostan balik". And Henry, you forgot "dada" also means 'chest' besides 'breast'... oops!
