Now u know why I chose this song eh CHi?? Haha - I thought that would bring back memories of KK parties! The band is Procol Harlum - maybe he's a one-hit wonder. What about Smoke in the water by Deep Purple?

oh ya = that popular band - Grass something......... I forgot the name too but I know who u mean. XXXXXX Chin sometimes fills in as drummer too.

I did go to occasional parties. That's why I always get in "trouble" with XXXXXXX XXX. He said that dancing was a sin so we always argued over that. I did go to church - even part of the choir and I play the organ........ :-)

Yes, that's it. Glasstears!! I used to know them. They used to teach me during their practice. I tried out the drum and bit of everything.

Can't remember XXXXXX Chin ever play in the band. Most of them were Eurasian. Do you remember Robert something sing the cheating heart and got second place in ASS annual singing contest. He was so upset to lost to XXXXXX chin.

which Robert are you referring to? was it Vun Foh On? The annual singing contest was fun eh? I used to skip Mrs. Liew's class to do some organising for the contest. Lots of work but fun. You should have sang!

...How did u know these popular guys??? Bet every girl in KK had a crush on them in those days since they were such a good band. Should have gotten them to play at ASS dance! hahaha!

Gary Thien on vocals. Benjamin (blind guy) on keyboards. Roger and Elizabeth Estrop (brother and sister) on guitar and vocals. There is another guy on lead guitar I can't remember his name.

Ah Lo
You can hire KK community centre and have outside catering from any restaurant or any hotel and there are a few audio visual companies around too,
D Herbs, Glass Tears, Marksman, etc, can play for you too.

KN,

Only you and I oggle compassionately at these boyhood adolescent stuff. Most people have already outgrown these silly little sucky perky didi dodo hello kitty girls. Glad they made you feel young again for a minute. (G)
